Wasp Control in Johannesburg

A wasp nest under the eaves or in the ground by the wall makes your own garden feel unsafe. We find every nest, treat it properly and take it down, so you can use your patio again.
- You can sit outside and braai again without dodging wasps.
- They do not rebuild in the same corner, because we treat the spot the nest was sitting on.
- We work around when your family is home and tell you exactly when it is safe to go back outside.

Wasp Infestations Are More Than Just a Nuisance.
Wasps pose a significant safety risk with their painful stings and aggressive behaviour. Protecting your home and family from these pests is crucial.
Their Stings Are Painful and Dangerous
Unlike bees, wasps can sting multiple times. For people with allergies, a single sting can trigger a severe reaction. Even if you are not allergic, multiple stings from an agitated nest can send you to the emergency room.
They Get Aggressive Fast
Wasps will defend their nest if they feel threatened. Walking too close to one under the eaves or in the carport is enough to set them off. That makes the patio and the garden unsafe for your family and pets.
Nests Grow Quickly
A nest started in September can hold thousands by February. The longer you leave it, the bigger and more dangerous it gets.
DIY Removal Is Risky
Spraying a wasp nest yourself often makes things worse. You agitate the colony, and they come after you. Professional treatment is safer and actually gets rid of the whole nest, not just the wasps you can see flying around.

Signs of a Wasp Infestation
Catching a wasp problem early saves you from a much bigger and more dangerous situation down the road. Here is what to watch for.
Visible Nests on Your Property
Nests turn up under eaves, in gutters, behind burglar bars and tucked into the corners of a carport or patio. Some build underground. A papery grey structure is a wasp nest.
Wasps Flying In and Out of One Spot
If wasps keep entering and leaving the same spot on the house or in the garden, there is a nest nearby. They are following a flight path back to the colony.
Chewed Wood or Paper Material
Wasps chew wood fibers to build their nests. If you see tiny scrape marks on fences, decks, or wooden trim, wasps are gathering building material from your property.
Increased Buzzing and Aggression
If wasps seem more aggressive than usual or you hear loud buzzing near a wall or ceiling, the colony is growing and they are defending their territory.
Wasps Around Food and Drinks
Wasps are attracted to sugary drinks, fruit, and meat. If they keep showing up at the braai or around the bins, a nest is not far away.
Wasps Getting Inside Your Home
Finding wasps indoors means they are getting in through gaps around windows, air bricks or cracks in the wall. There may be a nest built right against the house.
Surge from Spring into Autumn
Activity picks up from September as queens start new colonies, and by February and March the nests are at their biggest and most aggressive. Dealing with it early keeps it small.

Yes, it is completely safe for everyone in your family once it dries. We use targeted products that only affect the wasps, so you can stop worrying.
Most nests are eliminated within 24 to 48 hours after treatment. You might still see a few wasps returning to where the nest was, but they will not be able to rebuild once we have treated the area.
Most of the time, you can stay right at home. Our treatments are applied directly to the nests and nesting areas. If we ever need you to step out for a bit, we will always let you know well ahead of time.
Wasps leave behind pheromones that attract new queens to the same location the following year. We treat the area to remove these chemical markers and recommend sealing entry points to prevent them from rebuilding.
No, we will not. We do not like forcing people into contracts. We will fix your wasp problem and we can talk about prevention plans to keep them away, but you are never locked in.
