Professional Pest Control Park Central

Flats near the city centre share a drain stack between units, so pests do not respect the boundary of your front door the way they would in a freestanding house. A unit two floors up can be the reason yours has a problem, and a unit treated on its own can only ever be half the job. We work with the building where we can, not just with the flat that called us.

Pest control for a flat in Park Central, Johannesburg

Park Central, Johannesburg

Made for Park Central

We know what's bugging Park Central.

Pests in Park Central aren't the same as pests two towns over. We know the ones that show up here, and we know how to get rid of them. Take a look at what we treat below.

Ants Control

Ants Control

Ants are sneaky. They get into your food and hide deep inside your walls. We find exactly where they’re coming from and stop the whole colony for you.

Spiders Control

Spiders Control

Nobody likes walking into a spider web. Whether they're in the garage or the basement, we clear them out and make sure new ones can't get back in.

Roaches Control

Roaches Control

Roaches are tough to get rid of by yourself. We use special tools to find their hiding spots and clear them out quickly.

Rodents Control

Rodents Control

Mice and rats can chew on wires and make a big mess. We catch them and seal up any tiny holes so they can’t sneak back into your house.

Mosquitoes Control

Mosquitoes Control

Mosquitoes can ruin a nice day outside. We treat your garden and the places water collects so they stop breeding and stop biting.

Bed Bugs Control

Bed Bugs Control

Bed bugs hide in your mattress and bite while you sleep. We use heat and safe treatments to get rid of them so you can sleep soundly again.

Fleas Control

Fleas Control

Fleas are tiny bugs that jump on you and your pets. We clear them out of your carpets and bedding to make your home feel clean again.

Silverfish Control

Silverfish Control

Silverfish love damp corners and can ruin your books or clothes. We find where they’re hiding and stop them before they do any damage.

Wasps Control

Wasps Control

Wasps build nests around your home and can sting multiple times. We find every nest and take it down safely so you can use your garden again.

Termites Control

Termites Control

Harvester and subterranean termites work through timber out of sight. We treat the colony and inspect the property, including for transfer clearance.

Local and Trusted

Why our neighbours trust us.

Most flat owners who call us have already treated their own unit once. What changed nothing was that the drain stack and the neighbouring flat were never part of the job.

Registered and accountable

We are registered as a Pest Control Operator under Act 36 of 1947, so if the work is poor you can take it up with the Department of Agriculture, not just with us.

Randburg based

We work out of Randburg, close to Park Central. That is why a callback here is a short drive rather than a scheduling problem.

We look at the building, not just the unit

In a block of flats a single treated unit is only ever half the answer. Where we can, we raise the shared drain and duct access with the body corporate or managing agent directly.

We work with the building

Where a caretaker or body corporate lets us in, we treat the shared stack and the service ducts, because that is the route the roaches are using.

How It Works

Getting rid of pests
is pretty simple.

What actually happens when someone in a Park Central block calls us.

01

Get a Quote

Tell us what you are seeing and, if you know it, which direction it seems to be coming from. You get a written quote before anything is booked.

02

We Come to You

We inspect your unit and the shared points nearest it, the drain stack, duct access and any common corridor, before deciding where treatment actually needs to happen.

03

We Back Our Work

Where the source sits in common property, we contact the body corporate or managing agent directly, so the conversation isn't left to you.

04

Stay Bug-Free

If it returns before it should, we come back with the record of what was done, which speeds up any follow-up with the building.

Our Promise

Good work
speaks for itself.

No lock-in contract and no vague verbal promises. A written quote, a proper inspection, and a written record of the work.

Common Questions

Pest control questions from Park Central flat owners

The things people in flats near the city centre ask us most, answered straight.

Because a flat isn't a sealed box. It shares a drain stack, and often a service duct, with every other unit above, below and beside it. Cockroaches move through that shared plumbing far more easily than through a sealed front door, so a unit that has never had food out can still pick up a problem started three floors away. Sealing your own gaps helps, but it doesn't touch the route they're actually using.

On its own, not much beyond treating your unit and the shared drain access points near it. Where we can, we'd rather deal with the source directly, which means speaking to the body corporate or managing agent about treating the stack or the neighbouring unit itself, not just yours. If you can put us in touch with whoever manages the building, we'll raise it with them.

For anything inside your own flat, no. For duct access points, roof-level pipework or a building-wide drain treatment, generally yes, since that's common property. We'll tell you plainly which part of the job is yours to approve and which part needs the trustees or the managing agent, so you're not caught having agreed to something you can't authorise.

It's still worth doing, because a treated unit with sealed entry points is harder to move into than an untreated one, and you'll see the numbers drop. But if the source flat or the shared drain stays untreated, expect the problem to keep testing your defences rather than disappearing outright. That's why we always ask about the wider building before we quote just one door.

You don't have to be the one to raise it. Tell us the unit or the floor where you believe it's coming from and, where the building structure allows it, we'll approach the managing agent or body corporate ourselves rather than putting you in an awkward conversation with someone you live next to.

Treat the flat, and the building around it.

Tell us what you are seeing and where you think it is coming from, and we will give you a free written quote. We are a few minutes away in Randburg and our line is open around the clock, Monday to Friday.
